SPECIAL CONTEST EDITION

Normally I would not clutter your e-mailbox with extraneous items, but I just learned this week about a few things that are time-sensitive and potentially rewarding! They’ll be over or almost over by the time my next newsletter goes out and I didn’t want you to miss out—especially on a dynamite contest being sponsored by my publisher!

This Friday, November 5, I will be participating in a live chat with Kerry Donovan, NAL editorial assistant, from 2-3 PM Central Time. You can lurk and watch, but we’d love to have you leap in and join the discussion—ask questions of either of us on any topic, make comments, whatever! Don’t be shy!
1. Go to: www.nalauthors.com
2. Click on “boards.”
3. If you wish to participate, you’ll need to register. Click on “register” at the top of the page and follow the directions.
4. Then (or if you merely want to view): Click on “book chat.”
5. The thread is “Signet Eclipse Book Chat” (or look for a thread with my name on this page).
Take a look around while you’re there—we’d love to have you join in some of the other discussions taking place with NAL authors. We’re a friendly group and we’d love to get some reader participation—we get bored hearing each other drone on. :)

BIG, BIG CONTEST!

I know it’s hard to top talking live with me (har-har), but I find this much more exciting: For you contest enthusiasts, NAL is hosting a BIG one. Visit www.nalauthors.com and click on “contest.” You can enter for an opportunity to win the entire line of Eclipse (NAL’s new romance imprint) novels published in 2005! Deadline for registration is the end of December.

Also, the NAL authors will be hosting two other contests in November and December:
1. This one isn’t posted yet, but I’ll give you advance notice: Visit the NAL boards, as listed above. Click on the topic “contests and games,” to find details about a monthly contest with two separate book giveaways. In November, one of my books will be awarded to a winner.
2. Visit the site hosted by NAL authors: http://signetnal.home.att.net. Within the next week a new Treasure Hunt starts. You’ll have opportunities to win featured books!
